In today's society, floor scrubbers are widely used. Commercial floor scrubbers are increasingly replacing traditional manual cleaning in shopping malls, supermarkets, workshops, schools, and many other places, achieving efficient and high-quality cleaning results, significantly saving cleaning costs, and improving environmental quality. However, over time, some problems may arise during the use of floor scrubbers. Today, we'll discuss "Why My Floor Scrubber Isn't Dispensing Water."

First: Most floor scrubbers on the market are battery-powered. If the machine isn't dispensing water, first check if the motor is working properly. Simply turn on the machine, open the solenoid valve or the water outlet button, and listen to see if the water pump is working. If there's no sound, the water pump isn't working. You need to check the water pump's wiring or contact the floor scrubber manufacturer's after-sales service.

Second: Many commercial walk-behind floor scrubbers have solenoid valves or manual water adjustment buttons. For example, the water outlet solenoid valve on the KUER XS15D is located on the machine's cover; you need to open the cover and manually open it. If it's a rotary switch, turn the water adjustment button clockwise to check if water is dispensing normally. Third: The most common reason why commercial floor scrubbers don't dispense water from the brush is insufficient water in the clean water tank. Some models on the market may also automatically stop water flow when the water level in the tank is too low. In this case, simply add enough water to the tank.

Fourth: If the machine still doesn't dispense water even with a sufficient clean water tank, check the water hose for bends or blockages. If the hose is simply clogged with debris, remove it and flush it. If the hose is flattened or bent, try straightening it. If straightening the hose doesn't work, you may need to replace the deformed hose.

Fifth: If the previous steps are fine, check the nozzles or water outlets for blockages. Small pieces of sand or gravel may clog the nozzles during cleaning. Remove the nozzles and flush them with water or clear any blockages with a fine needle. This should usually resolve the issue.

In summary

A floor scrubber not discharging water is usually not a serious problem. Most issues are related to improper operation, blockages, and inadequate routine maintenance. Therefore, performing proper maintenance and upkeep after each use can effectively reduce common problems like water discharge failure and extend the equipment's lifespan.
