When using products like the KUER XS50D walk-behind floor scrubber, you may occasionally encounter minor malfunctions, such as the squeegee failing to pick up water or the brush not dispensing water. This article mainly introduces troubleshooting methods for squeegees failing to pick up water during daily use.
The squeegee is an important component of commercial floor scrubbers, quickly absorbing wastewater and keeping the floor dry after washing. However, after a period of use, it often fails to pick up water. So how do you solve these problems?
1. First, observe the condition of the squeegee strip and its fit to the floor. Adjust the height of the squeegee's casters to control the strip's height off the ground.
2. The rubber strips on both sides and in the middle of the squeegee should form an angle of 30"-45" with the floor for optimal water absorption.
3. If the strip is adjusted too low, the holes in the front of the squeegee strip will be blocked, resulting in poor or no water absorption.
4. If the rubber strip is adjusted too high, the squeegee strip will be suspended in the air, resulting in poor or no water absorption.
1. Check if the drain pipe cap is tightened and if the drain pipe is worn.
2. Check if the wastewater filter is clogged and if the wastewater cap seal is detached or damaged.
3. Check if the suction motor and exhaust pipe are bent. If bent, adjust them promptly to ensure smooth airflow.
4. Check if the suction pipe is clogged. If clogged, remove the suction pipe and clear the blockage with a hard wooden stick.
By checking these steps, you can effectively rule out the problem of the squeegee failing to absorb water. If the problem persists after these four steps, consider whether the problem lies with the suction motor or other components. In this case, contact the relevant after-sales service personnel for assistance.
