Why should we replace the rubber strip of a commercial floor scrubber?

Commercial floor scrubbers (such as KUER-XJ80S) are efficient cleaning equipment widely used for cleaning large areas of hard flooring.

In addition to core components such as motors and batteries, rubber strips are also important components that cannot be ignored in commercial floor scrubbers. The rubber strip of the floor scrubber is mainly used for absorbing water and cleaning the floor. To avoid affecting the cleaning effect, the rubber strip of the driving floor cleaner should be replaced in a timely manner after wear and tear. KUER recommends that floor cleaning machine operators replace rubber strips every 3-6 months

The following are the replacement methods for the suction strips of KUER-80S, KUER-XJ100SD, and other driving commercial floor cleaners:

1. Turn off the power:

Ensure that the driving floor scrubber is turned off and unplug the power plug.

2. Disassemble the water absorbing scraper:

Use the lifting handle of the suction scraper to lower the suction scraper. Loosen or unscrew the screws or buckles that secure the suction cup, and remove the suction cup from the bracket.
Remove the suction pipe from the floor scrubber's suction rack.

3. Disassemble the old rubber strip:

Loosen the clips or screws that secure the rubber strip.
Gently remove the old rubber strip, being careful not to damage other parts of the water absorbing scraper.

4. Install a new rubber strip:

Check if the new rubber strip matches the specifications of the old rubber strip to ensure that it can be installed correctly.
Align the new rubber strip with the installation position on the suction grill of the floor scrubber, paying attention to distinguishing the front and back or inside and outside directions of the rubber strip.
Use buckles or screws to secure the new rubber strip onto the absorbent strip, ensuring firmness.

5. Reinstall the water absorbing scraper:

Install the water absorbing scraper back into the floor scrubber and tighten the screws or buckles.
Insert the suction sewage pipe.

6. Adjustment and testing:

Adjust the angle of the water absorbing scraper to ensure a tight fit between the rubber strip and the ground.
Turn on the driving floor scrubber for water absorption testing and check the installation effect of the new rubber strip.

The suction rubber strip of a driving floor scrubber is generally available on all four sides. When one side wears out, it can be replaced with another side for continued use. When replacing the rubber strip, if the suction scraper is dirty, it needs to be cleaned first to avoid affecting the suction effect. If you are not familiar with the operation of the driving floor scrubber or have any questions, it is recommended to refer to the product manual or contact the manufacturer for professional guidance.
